Joinery made for the room it lives in
Here at Prohaus we offer bespoke joinery. Our skilled joiners make the most of every corner of your house with modern or traditional joinery, including media units, fitted wardrobes, library shelving, window seats and staircases, made to measure across Kingston upon Thames and south-west London.

Joinery for every room
Each piece is designed around the space, the finish you want and how you will use it.
Fitted wardrobes
Built to the full height and width of the room, including alcoves and sloping ceilings.
Alcove units
Cupboards and shelving either side of a chimney breast, a classic in Victorian and Edwardian houses.
Media units
Built-in units for the television, speakers and storage, with cable routes planned in.
Library shelving
Floor-to-ceiling shelving for books and display.
Window seats and benches
Seating with storage beneath, as at Worple Way in Richmond.
Staircases
New staircases and balustrades, including slatted timber screens.
Joinery in our projects
Joinery is often built into the renovations and extensions we are already carrying out.

Why made-to-measure beats off-the-shelf
Many south-west London homes were not built to modern standard sizes. Chimney breasts, alcoves, bay windows, sloping ceilings and uneven walls leave space that ready-made furniture cannot use well. Bespoke joinery is scribed to the walls and fills the space properly.
We agree the design, timber or board, finish and hardware before anything is made.
- Send photographs, rough measurements and examples of styles you like.
- We measure accurately on site before making.
- Joinery can be built as part of a renovation or extension.
- Prohaus Ltd was registered in 2015, and the team brings more than 20 years of residential building experience.
