What we need to review a new build
- The site address and ownership position
- Whether planning permission is in place, and its conditions
- Architect’s drawings and any technical reports
- The structural engineer’s design, if available
- The intended specification and finish
- Warranty, insurance or lender requirements
Where information is missing, the first step is to work out what must be prepared before a reliable price can be given. We would rather say that clearly than price on guesswork.

How is a new build project managed?
The approved drawings, engineering details, specification, quotation and programme are reviewed together. Any project-specific warranty, insurance or lender requirements must be agreed in writing before work starts.
Can you help if I do not have planning permission yet?
Yes. We work closely with architects and designers who help with planning and building regulations approval, and we can review the project at an early stage.
Do you build garden offices?
Yes. We built a detached brick garden office on Maple Road in Surbiton, on ground-screw foundations. Many garden offices can be built under permitted development.
